Pinterest VS. Path

Pros:
1. Beautiful interface.
2. User friendly.

Cons:
1. I already have Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to connect with
people, why would I want another social media account to connect with
the same group of people?
2. Compiling things I love in an online journal? It makes sense if I
don't have Tumblr or blog yet.

Why do we have to care about social media?

Sometimes I'm thinking to myself, we haven't even found the other 700
planets yet. Why do we have to care about social media again?

(BELVEDERE) RED Party on 1 Dec

Stop_give

In conjunction with the launching of the special edition (BELVEDERE) RED bottle in Singapore, Belvedere Vodka Singapore has just launched a Stop & Give campaign on Facebook. It is meant to encourage people to join the cause to STOP the spread of AIDS in Africa and GIVE WAY to a cure by submitting a picture of either a STOP or GIVE WAY street sign on their Facebook app. And in return, participants will stand a chance to attend an exclusive (BELVEDERE) RED party on World AIDS Day, on 1 December. Also, you will chance a chance to win a bottle of (BELVEDERE) RED at the event as well! Check this out and let me know what you think! See you at the event! http://on.fb.me/sVZJKE

Tintin Worth Sharing

The simplicity in this video is brilliant. James Curran (@slimjimstudios) is the master brain behind this lovely animation.
Thanks to the power of internet, he landed a job with Steven Spielberg.

I believe that the invention of alcohol is older than this earth

I have been wanting to collect songs about alcohol and getting drunk, which are the kind of activities that are closely related to advertising since it was invented around six decades ago. But of course, alcohol is older than this earth, I believe...

Here are the two to start with. Enjoy!

Young Change Agents by Bates 141

This was first initiated 3 years ago and resulted Bates 141 a metal in Atticus Awards. Atticus Awards is a prestigious awards show held by WPP group to recognise their best advertising works in the network.

Bates Young Change Agents Program was initiated to recognise their young and promising talents by giving them a special brief to crack (out of their day-to-day scope of work). The young will team up with the old; and there's where creativity happens - the green brains vs. the wise ones. Amongst the regional team, there is Sonal Dabral from Creative, David Meredith from Talents, Desiree Lim from Corporate Communication and Dheeraj Sinha from Planning.

Reasons I don't use Foursquare anymore:

1. Groupon gives me deals daily, without the need of checking-in or being a mayor of one retail brand.

2. I don't really want to know where my friends are at. If I really need to know where they are, I will whatsapp.

3. Or I will find out from Facebook Places.
